Wedding venue guide
The Tithe Barn Wedding Venue, Bolton Abbey
Bolton Abbey · North Yorkshire – Yorkshire Dales · United Kingdom
The Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey is a restored 16th-century barn within the Duke of Devonshire’s Yorkshire Dales estate. Its immense timber roof, stone walls and open interior create a dramatic setting for ceremonies, dining and evening celebrations, with capacity for large guest numbers. The surrounding estate, nearby priory ruins and Dales landscape provide exceptional photography and a powerful sense of history. Modern catering and event infrastructure are integrated discreetly into the historic building. The venue is ideal for couples who want the scale and atmosphere of a landmark barn wedding, supported by experienced operators, while remaining within reach of Manchester and Stockport despite its destination-style setting.
